After 14 years of game releases, many players are confused about the main storylines and timeline. In addition, many gamers don’t want to miss any of the spin-off games released by Ubisoft. To help fans of the new AC games as well as veterans, this guide gives all the Assassin’s Creed games in chronological order with release dates.

All Assassin’s Creed games in chronological order (timeline)

Although the first Assassin’s Creed game came out in 2007, it was not the first original game, according to AC Lore. The basic story is about a race of progenitors, called Isu, who create artifacts from the Apple of Eden to control the human race and make them their slaves. This was successful until Adam and Eve stole one of the artifacts and started a rebellion against Isa. The war between the two races continued until a massive solar flare struck the Earth around 75,000 B.C. Chr.

Today we know this day as the day of the Toba Shoah, which wiped out most of Isa and left only a handful of people. Thousands of years passed before some Isu (to avoid spoilers in the game) began indirectly controlling humans, leading to the birth of the Ancient Order. They were the successors of the children of Cain, who tried to control mankind through the pieces of Eden. The only two groups that fought against this world domination were the Babylonian order of Iltani and the Persian elite of Artaban. To the last Medjai, Bayek of Siwa, and Aya of Alexandria in 47 v. Chr. Thus, the Brotherhood of the Assassins was born to save humanity from slavery and fight the Templars for freedom.
