The MedivoxRx ® Technologies, Inc. “Rex” Disposable Talking Medication Bottle is a battery powered assistive aid device that provides verbal access to medication information for persons who are unable to read printed labels. DIRECTIONS
Pharmacist or authorized healthcare provider applies a printed medication use label to the “Rex” Disposable Talking Medication Bottle, then records medication label information into the bottle.
To listen to the recorded information:
- Pick up the “Rex” Disposable Talking Medication Bottle and feel for the raised locator ridge that runs vertically from the top to the bottom of the bottle.
- Message activation button is on the locator ridge, near the end of the bottle opposite from the bottle cap.
- Press button to play message. Continue to hold button down to hear complete message. When button is released, message will stop. Message will start from beginning each time button is pressed.
The battery life of the “Rex” Disposable Talking Medication Bottle will vary depending upon the length of message and number of times message is played. Battery life expectancy is approximately 300 message plays.
To prevent cross-contamination, each “Rex” Disposable Talking Medication Bottle is intended for use with a single medication only.
(CAUTION is advised to prevent message activation while bottle is stored or packed for travel.)
The “Rex” Disposable Talking Medication Bottle IS NOT A TOY and care should be given to keep it and all medication containers safe from children.
For Best Results
- Do not remove or deface the printed information label on the Bottle.
- Do not attempt to disassemble or alter Bottle configuration.
- Do not expose Bottle to direct sunlight for extended periods.
- Do not submerge Bottle in liquid.
- Do not place Bottle in the freezer.
Please Note
- Bottle contains no user serviceable parts.
- If Bottle is not operating properly, return it to point of purchase for replacement.
- MedivoxRx ® Technologies, Inc. will repair or replace any Bottle that is determined to be defective within a period of 90 days from the date of purchase. Does not cover damage or failure due to abuse, misuse, negligence, or improper operation.
- In the event of Bottle failure, it is the responsibility of the consumer to find a safe alternate means of determining the contents of the Bottle and how contents should be used properly
